All That Swing jazz

Enlarge this picture! After the MC Hot Swing Again and the 1995 MC / CD Swing Rhythm Revival, the young jazz singer is now introducing her third album of once famous songs from the swing era of the 1930s and 1940s, some of which are long forgotten. She revives the compositions of Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, Duke Ellington and others in a contemporary tone of her own. Besides the best of swing, she presents a special treat, Glorious Day in three-four time, and a courageous approach to Sporting Life Song from Gershwin's opera, Porgy And Bess. I Became Of Age has a beat rfeminiscent of rock music, and the blues is also represented by Handy's classic, Saint Louis Blues and a quite recent tune, Merry Christmas Blues.
