Triangel jazz

Enlarge this picture! Triangel, the first solo album of the jazz drummer Péter Szendõfi, came out in the summer of 2005. There were already plans for the album the previous year, when Péter met his favourite bassist, Gary Willis, who is a world-renowned jazz musician for twenty years now, and who played with Wayne Shorter, and founded the band Tribal Tech with the guitarrist Scott Henderson. Gary Willis accepted the invitation to play on the record, bringing in some of his own music. This two-composer disc thus is truly an eclectic record with its main style being fusion jazz, however, admirers of acoustic jazz as well as the modern funk-jazz fans will surely find their delight in it.
