The Makám & Kolinda – ambassador of the world music in Hungary – worked between 1980 and 1984, toured the world as the star band of the world music festivals. In their songs were found the musicality of the Balkan and the Carpathian Basin moreover the influence of contemporary jazz and classical music of Northern-India. They released three legendary (now unavailable) albums called ‘1982’, ‘Szélcsend után’ and ‘Úton’. After this period they worked as two different bands: Makám and Kolinda
On their 30-year anniversary concert they played the era’s most memorable songs and the newest songs – spiced up with surprises.
