Founding member and legendary keyboardist Geoffrey Downes (The Buggles/Yes) joins long-time vocalist/bassist JohnPayne to add yet another chapter to their legacy with a new vision and high profile additions to the bands line-up. Joining downes and payne in 2001 are guitar wizard Ian Crichton, best known for his work with million selling Canadian act Saga and drummer Chris Slade who over the years has played with Manfred Mann’s Earthband, Gary Numan, The Firm (Jimmy Page & Paul Rodgers), Dave Gilmour (Pink Floyd) Garry Moore and recently AC/DC. It is clear that ASIA in 2001 is a supergroup again. The artwork will be handled by the legendary Roger Dean.
