We have been collecting, studying and playing Moldavian folk music for the last twenty years. We play on traditional instruments, following the usual dance house line up. The old csángó folksongs and dance tunes play an important role in our music, but we also incorporate elements of currently popular Romanian city music and own compositions. Our music is based on these ingredients - in varying proportions - and this CD offers a snapshot of the Tázló Band’s ongoing development.
