Enlarge this picture! "The highly talented bass guitarist, Alex Berkesi (31) comes from a famous family of musicians, therefore MUSIC has become an inseparable element of his natural milieu. As a young man, he toured half the world with his guitar. First he went to Greece, Turkey, Egypt, Israel, Italy, then, having completed a long-term contract in Germany, to the Netherlands, Mexico and, finally, to North and South America. Due to the family traditions and the open-minded way of thinking, he is as familiar with the protestant musical life as with Bach and the folk music, or as we say today, with the “world music”. Though Alex Berkesi’s third solo album entitled "FEHÉR" (WHITE) starts with an adaptation of Bach, this time, however, the emphasis is mostly placed on his own compositions. In addition to the particular instrumentation and the spectacular choreography characteristic to the concerts, the album "FEHÉR" is unforgettable because of Bea Berkesi’s marvellous voice and Boglárka Berkesi’s contribution. Alex Berkesi and his ensemble are pleased to respond all demands for concert.
